The first phase of the five-day 2020 Guiyang Cool Guizhou Poplife Festival (Nanming Venue), hosted by Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Nanming District Bureau of Commerce of Guiyang Municipality, took place from July 30 to August 3, 2020, at Huaguoyuan Shopping Mall in Nanming District, Guiyang City.

With 18 countries and more than 60 enterprises gathering together, over 1000 kinds of delicious food and nice goods has been showcased at the mall, where there has been plenty of good tastes, pretty goods, fun and purchasing. Open-air music DJ and personal DIY have made the event so colorful, and there was a sea of faces on the spot, which has injected vitality to the nightlife of Cool Guiyang.

As the supporting unit for this event, Guangdong Imported Food Association, in order to back up the recovery of imported food industry, had organized Kraft Heinz (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Ronghui (G.Z.) Trade Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Romantic Decoration Trading Co., Ltd., and other representative enterprises to make their wonderful appearance at the Poplife Festival .The world-renowned nutritional dietary supplements for infants and young children, the unique condiments and sauces from Southeast Asia, the much-loved Turkish chocolates and Korean candies have attracted huge popularity from on-site and local customers, each exhibition booth was crowded with visitors, and the products were selling like hot cakes on the spot, which had received highly favorable reviews.

Meanwhile, in order to promote the matchmaking of professional channels and expand the sales channels of importer enterprises, on the morning of July 31, 2020, IFA had organized the “Guangdong Imported Food Association & Guiyang Large Supermarket Sourcing Negotiation Meeting” together with Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Nanming District Bureau of Commerce of Guiyang Municipality, and Guizhou Quanyu Yingcai Exhibition Co., Ltd. at the Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

At the meeting, Mr. Jiang Ding, Executive Vice President of IFA , along with the delegation from Guangdong Imported Food Association, namely Ronghui (G.Z.) Trade Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Romantic Decoration Trading Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Depu Yongrui Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou INTrade Food Co., Ltd., Guangdong Hengyu Food Co., Ltd. and other outstanding enterprises had made excellent business presentation and product pitch in turn to the leaders of bureau of commerce in attendance and 10 Guiyang supermarket representatives (Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Metro, Fresh Hema, sub-brand of China Resources Group Ole’ Supermarket, BHG, Yonghui supermarket, Heli Super Mart, Xingli supermarket, Huimin Company) .

After the meeting, leaders of the Bureau of Commerce, representatives of Guiyang supermarkets, and the attendees had tasted the imported delicacies carefully selected by the importer enterprises of IFA delegation, and conducted a face-to-face, one-to-one negotiation on the spot. They showed great interest in the imported food on display and expressed the intent of further procurement and cooperation.
